We certainly have a place for you in FSA! Whether it's helping with adoption presentations in our local high schools and junior high schools, stuffing envelopes, coming to fun activities, meeting with health care professionals, giving adoption presentations to local wards, volunteering with birth parents, and much more.
@Lanette- I haven't been given a schedule but if you call the American Fork LDSFS (they are hosting the February trainings) They should be able to help you :)

You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you as you are to them. ~ Desmond Tutu
"Adoption Bound by love, joined by hearts, sent from Heaven, a gift from God." ~ unkown
“Adoption is not a breaking of trust but a keeping of faith… not the abandonment of a baby but an abandonment of self for a baby’s sake.” - Curtis Young (2001)
“While we tend to equate motherhood solely with maternity, in the Lords language, the word Mother has layers of meaning. Of all the words they could have chosen to define her role and her essence, both God and the Father and Adam called Eve “The Mother of all living,” and they did so before she ever bore a child. Like Eve, our Motherhood began before we were born. Motherhood is more than bearing children, though it is certainly that. It is the essence of who we are as women.”

The Gift of Life
"I didn't give you the gift of life, But in my heart I know. The love I feel is deep and real, As if it had been so. For us to have each other Is like a dream come true! No, I didn't give you The gift of life, Life gave me the gift of you." ~Unknown

It has been said that adoption is more like a marriage than a birth: two (or more) individuals, each with their own unique mix of needs, patterns, and genetic history, coming together with love, hope and commitment for a joint future. You become a family not because you share the same genes, but because you share love for each other. ~ Joan McNamara

Hi Angie!
Do you know who we could ask about the schedule for this? We need to go to the carseat safety and CPR parts specifically. Thanks =)
